The 1993 model inspired the new Mare Nostrum Acciaio – a 42mm stainless steel watch inspired by its shape and function. However, in order to make the watch lighter and with limited knowledge of the 1943 test works, the design of the new watch is still different from the old model. The watch replaces the 52 mm shape with a 42 mm diameter AISI 316L stainless steel case with a wide, flat matte bezel engraving the speed scale per kilometer per hour.
